New Mexico Christian Legal Aid
Who We Are and What We Do

In addition to providing one-on-one pro bono legal assistance, New Mexico Christian Legal Aid has expanded its services to provide Preventative Law and Community Legal Education seminars serving over 1500 persons each year. NMCLA volunteers encourage and support one another through prayer, training and mentor-ship, and fellowship events.

We are currently working to follow the Governor’s orders and also protect our clients and volunteers. Part of that includes meeting with clients over Zoom or on the phone. Clients and applicants must fill out and submit the consent form CLICK HERE FOR PDF FORM

Persons requesting legal assistance must complete an eligibility form. See also the Volunteers section for site information.

Site Coordinators assist the needy in determining eligibility and setting up appointments. Volunteer Christian attorneys then meet with these persons at the time of their visit and offer confidential legal assistance.
