Connect To Care
On May 3, 2008, New Mexico Christian Legal Aid joined community providers, the NM Coalition to End Homelessness, the Albuquerque Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Albuquerque, Comcast, and St. Martins Hospitality Center, in an exciting Connect to Care event that served nearly 700 homeless and needy men, women and children.
The event connected homeless persons with medical care, substance abuse treatment providers, and mental health counseling. The event also brought together several services critical to helping homeless citizens secure housing, employment assistance, social security, and legal assistance. . . .
